Trip Report
Bridle Trails State Park — Sunday, May. 29, 2016
Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
I hiked in from the power line trail across from Ben Franklin Elementary at about 9:30AM. LOTS of ripe Salmon Berries. It rained hard and I had many puddles to jump in. I entered the west section of the park and had to squat under a tree for a while to find relief from the rain. I saw about 5 other people on the trail this day. No horses.
I covered about 5 miles in my Vibram 5 Fingers. I probably wouldn't ever go barefoot in this park because of all the horse manure. I hike this park several times during the week and never see many people. It's really a hidden gem.
