A nice hike near Seattle. This has been in my list for a while, and glad I was able to try it out. Even for the rocky switchbacks, I think this trail is accessible for most hiking abilities. The falls are quite pretty! But true to the trip entry, there is really nowhere to sit and hang out, so be prepared to get to the top, take a picture, and turn right back around. I opted to eat a snack on big rock on one of the open talus switchbacks instead.
Arrived at the TH at 2:00 pm and it was mostly full, but encountered most everyone coming back to their cars in the first mile or so. Ran into a few other small groups on the trail after that, including one girl who had arrived in flip flops. Don't be that girl!
