Arrived at he well signed trailhead at 8AM to a mostly full parking lot (holds ~10 cars). The trail itself is mostly uphill through forest, with the trail narrowing and widening as you ascend. The uphill climb is not too strenuous and there are stretches of flat trail. No views, lots of forest cover and slugs for the loop. This is a hike best suited for a cloudy, rainy day.
