The Tammi Wilson Memorial Trail (Gages Slough Trail) is in Burlington. It is a short hike, about 0.82 miles round trip, depending on where you entered. It is to the south of the Cascade Mall. We parked in the mall parking lot and walked across the road to it. There is also an entrance off Burlington Boulevard, the corner of Burlington Boulevard and Cascade Mall Drive, and South Goldenrod Road (west of I-5). The east and west entrances are marked with a sign and the mall parking lot entrance has a covered area with tables under it. The entire trail is paved and wide, so ADA accessible and stroller friendly. There are trees and plants that line the trail, many are still fairly young so not a lot of shade in places. There are benches off the trail in the grass area facing the slough. There are also street lights along the trial, although I would not want to walk it at night. The trail goes under I-5 to the west and shortly after that is the end of the trail. Gages Slough is to the south of the trial. We did not experience any mosquitoes due to the breeze, but I am sure they were there. There were a few places that had ripe blackberries just off the trail. It is a nice break from doing any kind of shopping in town, to have lunch and/or let the kids run around.
