West Tiger No. 1 via Dwight's Way — Monday, Nov. 28, 2016

Issaquah Alps > Tiger Mountain
1/2 hour before sunset at the summit
A great day-hike with a view from the summit making the dredge through the mud worthwhile. Trail is mostly leaves/mud in lower half with water draining down the trail path - recommend some type of traction device. My trekking poles saved me several times from a slippery spill and were extremely useful for the steep descent. One tree is down across the trail about 1/2 mile from the trailhead but is easily climbed around and over. Only encountered 2 other brave hikers at the summit just as I was starting my descent before sunset. Beautiful view of Seattle area south! Love to try again when the mountains are visible.
