Hiked up both lakes this morning. We started at 10ish and got down around 1245! The lakes are completely frozen and snow covered! The trail was easy to follow but only by other foot prints!! We made it in normal good traction hiking boots, the snow has refroze a few times so there's ice here and there! The hike is pretty steep in the beginning but levels out about 1 mile in. The road is barley covered in snow and made it easy for any type of vehicle! Happy hiking :)
