We hiked up (and up and up and up) to Devil's Dream Camp from the Wonderland trail head in Longmire. It was approximately 12 miles round trip. We wanted to go farther, but Devil's Dream Camp was full of snow and we couldn't find where the trail went on from there. No snow on the trail before the camp.
The trail is in good shape for the most part; there is a stretch along the river where you have to follow rock cairns, but they are easy to spot. Lot's of glacier lillies and bear grass. Oh.. and bugs were ok, but only because we had bug spray. If we hadn't the mosquitoes would have been bad.
