Long hike, limited visibility, over grown trail, and SO MANY bugs....
I will attempt this hike again, because I know I missed out on some great views, dang you wildfire smoke!
We got 12 miles on our GPS, not 9.whatever WTA's page says. That was a RT total to the lookout only.
Trail is very overgrown in spot, highly recommend pants and long sleeve...
And the bugs, holy cow, they were relentless Deet resistant little monsters.
Other than all that..... Great hike :)

GPS is not accurate for hiking mileage. Everybody that has one thinks they have discovered that trail mileages are all wrong, when actually GPS is wrong. It can tell you exactly where you are, but doesn't do a good job of giving accurate distance hiked when you are on a trail.
