Heybrook Ridge — Saturday, Sep. 16, 2017

Very nice quick hike.  The WTA work parties have been busy, we ran into them while out there.  They are fighting the battle against erosion.  The pervious logging of the area has disturbed the natural drainage paths so the hillslope has evidence of sheetflow crossing the trail in many places.  We hiked this on the last dry day of the 2017 summer. Trail condition was great and is an easy hike for kids/dogs, you can get up to the top where unfortunately the view was not that great due to haze.
