As many have said, this hike is amazing this time of year, especially given the incredible fall weather we're having. There wasn't too much snow at the meadows up top, but if you want to go all the way to the peak I'd recommend some sort of extra traction for your shoes coming down. The trail is in overall very good condition, but there are a few places where it becomes a little ambiguous. We went down in the dark and heard a lost hiker who had gone way off the trail using her emergency whistle, but we were able to guide her back. Definitely an important reminder that you should always be prepared when hiking, even on well traveled trails like this one!
