We hiked the Lower Gold Creek today. In less than 2 miles we came to Gold Creek. The large Douglas fir is still laying across the log bridge. Find your way downstream to another temporary log bridge with a small diameter rope across the creek. Not an ideal crossing. Best just to get wet and remain safe. We continued to and crossed Sleepy Hollow creek. There is a larger moss covered log we used just downstream. We made our turn around at trail junction Gold Creek/Tubal Cain/Sleepy Hollow.
