French Creek Road has a lot of potholes like previous trip reports mentioned so we took higher clearance vehicle and had no problem. I think a sedan would have been able to get to the TH too, but it would have been more slow going. Roads and trail are muddy in some parts. We arrived around 5:30 pm and only hiked to the waterfalls due to daylight, but they were beautiful. We explored along the river for a bit, and managed without issue in sturdy tennis shoes. Wildflowers are blooming, we saw lots of Trillium and some Bleeding Hearts. This is a good after work hike now that the days are a little longer and you can choose how long you’d like to hike in.
