We hike this route pretty frequently and take visitors and first timers here, so I'd thought I'd share it just in case someone else is looking for just such a hike!
We start out as the WTA route describes to get to Coal Creek Falls. Then we continue along Coal Creek Falls Trail to Quarry Trail. Take a right and follow to the junction with Indian Trail. Going left at Indian Trail we head to Far Country Falls, which is superbly lovely in the sunshine this time of year! After Far Country Falls, we head back down the Indian Trail to Red Town Trail and usually stop at the meadows. Then we head back to Red Town trailhead for total of about 4.5 miles round trip. About 2 hours. Moderate excercise and lovely sights for a nice afternoon hike!
