My first time at Navaho Pass/Peak and this is a killer trail. It's on the long side, but keeps a fairly gentle grade up at least up until the pass. It follows water almost the whole way so there is a great soundtrack to hike to. Flowers are blooming for much of the trail, though not especially thick in any one part.
The reveal of the Stuart Range when you reach the pass is awesome. I got to see a couple of other people reach the top and see their faces change, I wish I would have gotten pictures of them.
As others have said though, if you've made it as far as the pass you deserve to go to the top of Navaho Peak. Take a right at the pass and climb, the steepest part of the trail. You can't see the summit for most of it, but if you look behind you Rainier comes into view quickly. There is a small amount of snow here, couple hundred feet tops and rapidly melting out. At the top you gain a marvelous view of Mt Stuart, worth the price of admission itself.
