Early AM hike. Trail in great condition and my dog always enjoys the falls when we arrive so he can jump in and get cooled off and get a drink. Saw a few rabbits and bugs were not bad at all.

Please remember to keep dogs on a leash. It's not only the law, it's just good trail etiquette. Although she might be very well-behaved, other dogs she might encounter may not be. I often avoid hiking anymore w/ my lab because of this. She is VERY timid and has been attacked before.

My dog is always on a leash unless HE is swimming, snapping a photo, or let off to pee as he will not do it on a leash. Also, most dogs we encounter on ANY trail in WA are off leash if and when you get all dogs to be leashed in WA let me know. Comments are appreciated and helpful when you gather facts before making those comments.
