Took advantage of today's break in the rain to tag Del Campo. Snow began somewhere around 3800'. Midday, the top layer was slushy but not bad. Only a couple very small loose wet slides while glissading. I was fine without traction, but the others who are less experienced in snow did appreciate having crampons. Ice axes were helpful for one little bit above the lake. The summit scramble was enjoyable; average class 3.
Pretty straightforward.
