Hiked up to Tatoosh Lakes Saturday for an overnight. The road leading to the trail is in good shape, just a few potholes that are avoidable. The trail is steep from the beginning and will stay that way. There were a few small snow patches but nothing you'd need snowshoes or microspikes for. Bugs were out but weren't too terrible. All the wildflowers are out right now adding sooo much color to the trail. It really is a beautiful trail with amazing views from the lakes and the lookout.
