Tuck and Robin Lakes — Sunday, Jul. 14, 2019

Snoqualmie Region > Salmon La Sac/Teanaway

It was my first time here and I have to say, I will be back!! Drop dead gorgeous!

I said in previous trail reports, the road is full of potholes and washboarding. The area where the creek crosses the road would definitely be difficult for lower clearance vehicle, but my truck did not have any problems.

There's a few trees across the trail on the way to tuck, but very easy to navigate around or over. The trail to Tuck is fairly easy to navigate. The streams are low enough and there's plenty of rocks to hop across.

As mentioned in the description, the trail to Robin can be tricky to find. Luckily I was hiking with some friends who knew a little bit about how to find the trail, but as soon as you find the first carin it is pretty self-explanatory as long as you follow them. Robin lake is so beautiful words cannot describe. It is well worth the trek (and you will find many mountain goats).

First day weather was perfect, but starting about midnight it started pouring rain. Note to others who do not know this, granite is very slippery when it is wet. Please be careful when hiking!
