Lime Kiln State Park — Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019

Puget Sound and Islands > San Juan Islands
Impromptu Disco

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful time on San Juan Island at one of our favorite state parks. The trails at Lime Kiln State Park are in great shape. The madrona birch is lovely - such wonderful colors. Binoculars highly recommended. Unfortunately, no whale sightings this time around, but we spotted one huge seal bobbing in the water just off shore. Many informational signs about the marine life and ecosystem of the area. Plenty of parking available and immaculate composting toilets.
