Looking up at Sloan

Took Bedal Creek to Sloan Glacier to corkscrew route. The route is in great condition. Good snow coverage on the glacier, easy to get back on rock, and the scramble route is snow free. The Bedal Creek trail was a bit overgrown at the beginning but nothing too difficult. We weren't sure of the best way to get up to the ridge right before the glacier, but there are multiple steep snow options, or you could scramble on some rocks. Lovely day out!

Hi, thanks so much for the report. What did the bergschrund look like? Do you have any photos of this? We are planning on trying for Sloan in about 1.5 weeks and trying to guess if the route will still in. Thanks!

I don't have any close up photos but added a photo of the glacier to the trip report. The snow is pretty fat, I wouldn't expect to have any problems for a while.
