Millersylvania State Park — Friday, Jul. 29, 2022

Camped at Millersylvania on what ended up being one of the hottest weekends of the summer (so far?) A nice camping area close to the highway - though traffic heading south from Seattle was a nightmare. We did two small hikes - through some of the wetlands, and up into the forested area - but didn't get to do the whole perimeter because of the heat, and bugs, and children who just wanted to swim in the lake. I couldn't blame them. It looked like this was the place to be on a sunny weekend. LOTS of people out at the lake - though not many on the trails. It looked like there was a lot of parking but it seemed to fill up quickly.
