Redmond Watershed Preserve — Monday, Aug. 29, 2022

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
views and the Trails

29aug2022 MON morning, while on my way to Kirkland WA, to have my vehicle service/repair, i dropped by Redmond Watershed Preserve for a ramble.

~07:20 i was the second to arrive at the parking. ~07:30 cool mid_50s_F went Out. Did a Loop: Trillium Trail, Miler's Siler's Mill Trail, and Trout Trail; total distance ~5.7 mi, total time 1:59, EG 404 ft. The Trails were signed, but its "Numbering & Codes" could be confusing for newbies (including me) to the Preserve .. perhaps, better to have bring along and use a Hiking App?

Well-shaded and cool in the woods. and only had the sun at the 1 or 2 small area along the Pipeline Regional Trail. The Trails were in good condition and seemed well-maintained. The Trout Trail is nicer .. its soft tread was kinder for my knees 😅 The restrooms at the Parking were opened and clean - thank y'all - the Preserve Maintenance folks. When i got back to the parking at ~09:30, it was mid_70s_F, .. and should climb to 80s+ later this afternoon .. 😅

Happy Trails Everyone 😊
