Gobblers Knob, Lake George — Friday, Sep. 2, 2022

I thought I might as well swing up to Lake George and Gobblers Knob while I was on Westside Rd today.

This is a healthy hike as a stand alone day hike.  The 4 miles up Westside Rd to the TH is a good workout. Whether it is biked or walked. The trail is then 2.5 mi and approximately 1,400 ft of elevation gain to the lookout.

The views of Mt Rainier are worth every pedal and/or step up to the lookout.  Lake George is just as stunning along the way.

There is a great bike rack at the TH. I know some folks will walk their bike to the TH and then enjoy the ride downhill after their hike.
