WOW! I was not expecting the views I got at the top of this hike. Truly breathtaking.
My friend and I set out this morning to hike Vesper Peak — unfortunately, the road to the trail head was closed due to construction. What a blessing in disguise.
We drove down to the road to check out Perry Creek — my friend recently hiked Mt Dickerman, so we decided to try Perry.
This hike was challenging but doable and the views at the top were jaw dropping. I loved hiking through the covered forest and being pleasantly surprised when we got to the top and there was a beautiful meadow, surrounded by drastic peaks in all directions.
I loved everything about this hike and I’m so happy we weren’t able to access Vesper Peak.
Like others mentioned, there’s a handful of fallen logs that were tricky by manageable to get over. And at the top don’t be fooled by the lookout —- keep heading on the trails to the right to find the meadow and the stunning views. You won’t be disappointed!
