I did not take any of these trails, but did see that they plan to close the Mountain Loop Highway from the Deer Creek Gate to the west and the Bedal Gate to the east for the winter starting tomorrow (Wednesday, November 9th) and wanted to pass the news on. This adds about 4.1 miles RT of road walking to get to the parking lot for the Big Four Ice Caves, and more for the other trails tagged in this report.
