Meadowdale Beach Park - Lunds Gulch — Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023

Thrilled to learn that the trail to the beach had reopened after being closed for months for a multi million dollar makeover. They redesigned the last section, taking out the culvert and building a new railroad overpass so that the salmon run can flow freely again. There’s also a new parking area at the bottom with paved ADA access to the beach. Still some construction going on but it’s beautiful.
Trail down the ravine was muddy in places, as you would expect this time of year but overall in good shape.
