We loved this hike, despite encountering rain, sleet, hail, and snow! The trails are mostly clear, though areas were middle and slippery. Trekking piles were key. We went counter clockwise, per the advice of another trip report and also liked getting most of the climbing out of the way in the first 2 miles. We didn’t hike down to the cove because the trail was steep and looked super slippery, but we had a great view of the big waves - it was super windy - from several points on the trail.
