The hike was really nice! Pretty cold overnight (this was during the quick cold snap we had - it was below freezing) but otherwise really peaceful.
Road getting there is narrow and steep - you climb pretty much all 6k feet over a short period in the car. But otherwise easy enough to navigate. We have an all wheel drive vehicle but you could've made it in a smaller car no problem.
There was one small patch of snow that you could easily walk around but otherwise completely snow free.
