Mount Rainier Area > SE - Cayuse Pass/Stevens Canyon
Mt. Rainier from the fire lookout.

Arrived at the trailhead at 8am, started hiking at 8:15, 3 other cars there.  Encountered all 3 groups at the lookout at the top.  Trail was easy through the forest, nice views of Rainier, Adams, Hood, and St. Helen's from the 2.5 mile mark on the way up.  Slight snowfields to walk across but easy to see the route and fine with poles.  Took a little over 2 hours to the lookout, a little under 2 hours back down.  Passed probably 5-6 other groups headed up as I was going down.  You definitely want to go early and bring sunscreen.

Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, and Mt. St. Helen's from the 3 mile mark.
