We arrived around 8:30am to a full parking lot. There are public restrooms w/ clean stalls + toilets with a water bottle filling station. The hike shares its beginning with Marymere Falls before branching out upwards into a CONSTANT uphill incline. The entire hike up took about 2 hours with many, many breaks and an hour to come down. It has been fairly dry so there is a lot of kicked-up dust and loose gravel. Also be aware that there are a fair amount of wasps/yellow-jackets especially closer to the top, and a visible nest at a corner of a switchback a bit before the End of the Maintained trail sign. Several other hikers shared that they were stung.
After the End of Maintained trail, you encounter the rope section. It's a bit steep, probably a bit more than 50°. Only one person/group can go a single direction at a time so there tends to be a large line waiting. Standing below in line was a bit sketch. I'm not sure if it's because of how dry it was but those climbing/trekking up would often loosen and cause gravel and rocks (at least the size of a baseball) to tumble down towards those below which can be even seen in the picture I took, so please give plenty of space to others,
