Swauk Forest Discovery Trail — Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023

Someone reported the larches are past their prime now, but this is not quite true, happily! Plenty of golden larches were seen throughout the trail. This hike was surprisingly gorgeous and our visit included big clouds hovering over the surrounding peaks that were dotted with golden larches. The feeling of gratitude for this lovely, easy trail came over our group. On the way there, we stopped in Cle Elum at Stella’s for a sando and coffee (so good!).
