Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

I made a last-minute decision to get an urban hike in on "National Take a Hike Day" and this did not disappoint. I did the Trillium Trail and Siler's Mill Trail. I passed maybe 8 other hikers, 2 runners, and three on bikes. No horses.

Trail was quiet, colorful, and peaceful. There are lots of offshoots that had a lot of markers but I am direction challenged and would have gotten turned around pretty easily without the map on my phone.

Trail was not muddy but was definitely slippery in areas with the wet, fallen leaves.

I will be back to see more of the trails. Beautiful urban hiking!
