Mount Storm King — Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023

Hiked up around 2-3pm with some friends, as aways the trail was steep but rewarding. There weren’t too many other people on the trail which was certainly nice and the clouds even broke a bit to give us a view. The ropes are in good condition and it even seems like a couple got replaced since the last time I was up…. Looks like someone had been leaving birdseed for the pine jays; they were fat, quite confident and very interested in our snack…. Someone ended up in our group ended up giving them part of a cliff-bar, so they followed us for a while… it was getting dark by the time we got to the bottom… all and all a great, relatively short hike.
