Got to the lot around 9:30am. There were about 5 cars in the lot. The lot is snow free. This was a new-to-me trail & I really enjoyed it. Lots of switchbacks as you ascend to Heybrook Ridge. The trail is also snow-free. Fairly muddy but easy to maneuver. Unfortunately for me, the Ridge was socked in with fog so no views today. A really fun and quick hike in the rain today. I clocked 3.79 miles and 813ft EG.

The next time you do this one I recommend following the power lines east until you reach the connector trail to Heybrook Lookout. It'll be just past the fifth tower. A great way to extend the hike and get additional views in.
