Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
Bridle Trails State Park by AlisoninthePNW

Did the Trellis loop (2m) and 1/2 of the Raven Loop (1m) today, during a forecasted break from the rain. As usual, trails were well maintained- at the trailhead there is a warning that a black bear was spotted & likely still in the area (don’t know how old this is) and on the Trellis Trail there were several warnings about barrel (?) owls swooping down. Love this new-to-me park- about a 20 min drive - nice to switch things up when you want to get out but don’t have the time/energy to go too far. Next time I want to try the Cougar Loop which is 3.5 miles, the longest of the loops.
