Roots Roots and more Roots! Squire Creek Pass was virtually completely fog-bound, so views were limited. The trail starts out pleasantly and then takes you up through a messy melange of mud, roots and rocks to the Pass. Occasional glimpses made it clear that this hike would have stupdendous views on a clear day. Mosquitos were voracious. A few lillies on the trail, as well. They didn't bite, however :^)
