Trip Report

Boulder River — Sunday, Sep. 2, 2001

North Cascades > Mountain Loop Highway
Sign to road is down. Access road is not bad at all, some potholes. Trail is overgrown, especially the last two miles. Count on being wet if it has been raining. One foot bridge broken but traversable. Beautiful hike, two waterfalls and great rock in places for bouldering. Campsites are nice, we saw four one of which is huge. Some mosquitoes, but not the worst I've seen. Well worth it. A good trip.
