Palisades, Little Ranger Peak via Ranger Creek — Saturday, Jun. 21, 2003

Mount Rainier Area > Chinook Pass - Hwy 410

Parked at Camp Shepperd and hiked the Palisades -Ranger Creek -White River trail loop starting and ending at Camp Shepperd. Overall, the trails were in excellent condition except for some blow down. We went as high as 5500 feet and encountered no snow. Views from the Palisades are dramatic--down into the White River valley and across to Rainier. Overall, a pleasant day hike.
