Notes:
Great day for snowshoeing, no rain and some sun. Lots of bakery yummies.
Clothing: Wicking long underwear and shorts. Ear band and gloves. Marmot thin waterproof jacket to block wind.
The attached file has a portion (straight red line near beginning) that was not tracked by gps due to signal blockage and program linked the untracked ends together. There was several strolls that can be seen by deeper/darker red lines. The overall distance was just under 9 miles.
Some of the times heading down were extended due to several glissading rides.
Sani Cans are available in parking lot (ugh).
Weather was forcasted to be rainy (lots of flooding in the news and rivers seen on the way up were high). Stevens Pass skiing was closed. Lots of snow has melted off, and somewhat slushy at different places. Good snowshoeing despite no power and snow was heavy from moisture. Cloudy but bright with sun peaking thru from time to time. Only one other car in lot as we left for out hike (two snow boarders). There has been 7"" of rain since Monday.
Sad Note: Some real slobs left plenty of litter here and there.
