Rattlesnake Mountain, Rattlesnake Ledge — Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
Rattlesnake overflowing its banks
Began a traverse of the Rattlesnake Ridge from the lake. Trail is in excellent shape, and the new sections are a welcome change from the logging roads. Hit snow around 3000', and finally donned snowshoes. The snow was mostly consolidated until after the scenic overlook. Snowshoes are highply recommended! TYhere are 3-4 feet of snow on the higher exposed sections. Companion Gary, Mike, and four-footed Bear enjoyed a nice day lasting 5'21"" car to car.
Typical snow cover on the highest sections.
