Love your National Parks? See them like you've never seen them before at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle. The National Parks in Washington State is a fine-art exhibition of 42 large photographs displaying perspectives of National Park Service units in Washington State.
The exhibit is presented by seven resident professional nature photographers renowned for capturing exceptional views of the natural world: Mary Liz Austin, Paul Bannick, John Chao, Natalie Fobes, Darrell Gulin, Stephen Matera and Dave Schiefelbein.
If that last name, Dave Schiefelbein, is familiar to you, then you've been paying attention. Dave's incredible photography is frequently donated for use on this website, and his beautiful images have graced the cover of Washington Trails magazine time and again. We're so happy to support his work, and hope you will get a chance to go see this exhibit in person.
Here are the details. The Washington State Convention Center is at 7th Avenue and Pike Street in Seattle (see map). It's open seven days a week, 7:00 AM - 10:00PM , and it's free. The exhibit runs through January 13, 2011.
