Kaleetan Peak, Denny Creek & Melakwa Lake — Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

Overall 12mi RT 1725m ascent. Many were out on the Denny Creek trail, half as many to the lake, and very few approaching Kaleetan. There is significant high Class 2 from the lake to the summit block, and the only Class 3 is the final, short segment. The final climb is much easier than the lengthy trek from the lake, over/around downed trees, over dirt covered rocks, etc. This route is very warm in the summer, as the entire trail up to the lake is exposed.
