If everyone who visited this site this weekend gave just $5, we would hit our fundraising goal. A donation of any size helps us create the resources you depend on.

Hiking Ruston Way

Ruston Way runs along the Tacoma Waterfront from Jack Hyde Park to Point Defiance Park, passing through Judge Jack Tanner Park along the way. This is a seven-mile round trip walk on a paved trail. It is open to walking, cycling, and running.

Nearby is the Chinese Reconciliation Park and the Fuzhou Ting — a pavilion from Fuzhou, China, one of Tacoma's sister cities. The park is intended to preserve the memory Tacoma's expulsion of its Chinese population in 1885, and as a model of reconciliation for other communities around the world that have experienced similar events.
