Snowshoe Trail serves as a 2 mile long connector route in the northwest corner of the Loomis Natural Resources Conservation Area on the edge of the Pasayten Wilderness.
At the southern end of the trail it connects to the Ollalie Trail at 5800 feet of elevation. It follows Snowshoe Creek to Snowshoe Meadows, where it terminates at 6400 feet of elevation at a junction with the Border Camp Trail.
The trail is marked with orange diamond markers on trees along the way and has several turnpikes crossing seeps. A campsite indicated on the Green Trails map was not apparent on the ground as of summer 2022. Parts of this trail were impacted by the 2015 Newby Lake Long Draw Fire.
