Started at the North Chuckanut Trail Head (1.2 miles), went up Hemlock Trail (2.3 miles), to Raptor Ridge (0.4 miles), and the Raptor Ridge viewpoint.
Beautiful day for it. Upper Hemlock trail had some overgrowth but nothing impossible to pass.
Went down from the Raptor Ridge viewpoint (0.1 miles) to the Raptor Ridge trail heading West (0.9 miles), and down North Lost Lake Trail (2.0 miles), and back down to the Trail Head (1.2 miles).
All in all about 8 miles round trip. We completed it in about 3.5-4 hours including a stop at the viewpoint for 20 minutes. Would recommend bug spray as the season goes on, and to keep an eye on your food at the viewpoint. There were some very friendly chipmunks looking for handouts.
Would also highly recommend the route up Hemlock or Huckleberry to Raptor Ridge rather than the North Lost Lake Trail. Hemlock and Huckleberry will have a variety of up/down/flat paths (with the main trajectory upwards), but North Lost Lake Trail is all uphill with no variation really. It was even hard on the joints coming downhill for that long. You'll also see more bikers on the North Lost Lake Trail.
